How to become a dealer for a brand

Becoming a dealer means a manufacturer authorizes your store to sell its products at agreed pricing, with dealer cost, protected pricing rules and shipping support. The process is short because there is nothing to wait for: you pick the brand, sign, activate, and access opens in the same moment.

What the brand expects of you

Every brand asks the same things of the stores that carry it.

  • A live store with real product pages and working checkout
  • Monthly revenue range and monthly visitor range
  • How you bring traffic in, and roughly what you spend on it
  • Whether you already sell in the same category
  • Whether you will respect the brand's minimum advertised price

The steps

First, pick the category you want to sell in and the brand you want to carry. Second, sign the DAS dealer terms, once for your account. Third, where the brand has its own supplier document, sign it on screen. Fourth, activate the brand in credits. Access opens in the same moment.

There is no waiting step. A few brands ask for their own signed document first; every other brand opens on activation.

What you receive when you activate

Dealer cost pricing, the minimum advertised price sheet, product data, images, delivery timeframes and the order process. From there you list the products and start selling. Some brands require their own signed document before activation, others do not.

What keeps a dealership healthy

A finished store, real traffic, a category that fits the product, and listings at or above the brand's advertised price. Pricing below the floor is the one thing that loses brand access.
